Add a little spice to your life and grow your own hot Jalapeno peppers. Like most pepper plants, Jalapeno plants will grow to form an upright and clump/bush of foliage. Peppered (excuse the pun) with Jalapenos, this is a prolific fruiting variety.
Scoville heat rating: 2,500 - 5,500 (approx)
When To Sow - When to Harvest
Growing Tips:Jalapenos are originally from Mexico. Commerical varieties are often grown in temperate climates in New Mexico, Texas and California. Unfortunately, our British weather isn't quite as nice, so Jalapenos are best grown under glass / In greenhouses. A natural fertiliser such as sea weed extract can be applied during its growing season to enhance growth and remember to water well.
